Real Estate Investing: Build WealthRepresenting Investors and Becoming One Yourself covers the fundamentals ofreal estate investment that practitioners need to know to expand their businessservices. The one-day course looks at how practitioners can adapt core realestate skills and learn new skills to serve clients who want to invest insingle family homes, condos, townhomes, and small multifamily properties. Youwill learn how to work with investors as they goal set, plan, evaluate, andacquire properties as well as manage them. You will also learn how to “walk thetalk” and become a real estate investor yourself.

Maurice Taylor, ABR, CRS, GRI, GRLA, MRP, SRES

Maurice has been a licensed Realtor® since 1999 and a Broker since 2005. His active involvement with the ARA started in 2000 and that involvement continues through today as he serves as your 2017 ARA President. Through the help of the ARA Maurice has earned his ABR, GRI, SRES and CRS.  Maurice had the privilege of participating and graduating in the first ARA’s REALTOR Leadership Academy class and later designated as a GRLA.

Since 1999 Maurice has served as a Director at Large, served on the Professional Standards Committee, Business Planning Committee, Equal Opportunity (chair 2007), Professional Development Committee (chair 2009), Nominating Committee, Member Services Committee, Legislative Committee and worked on at least 4 Convention Committees.  Maurice has also served two terms as District 4 Vice President and ARPAC Trustee and last but not least the 2013 President of his local board.

Maurice has 25 years of military service along with involvement in his community, local government leadership and leadership at various levels of ARA.  Maurice says that his experience gives him insight and knowledge that enables him to help make the very best decisions for our great organization and he is honored to serve the ARA in any capacity.
